2014 Spring Garden
Spring is in the air! I always look to spring season with a great anticipation! My garden was almost derailed by too much water and early spring but all that has been averted by simply putting a "rain stopper" on the slope from which water was pouring! Without further ado, here are the pictures!
Our Madison Jasmine is in full display right now! It is doing so well. It has reached the top of the trellis in one year! I cannot wait to see it fully grown.
My rhododendrons did not perform so well this year but I give them two more years and we shall see. I am going to continue to feed them and hope for the best. Only one out of 6 bloomed, even it had two flowers!
I am not surprised how well my Holland Scotch Broom is doing! This girl just performs! I took this picture early in spring and right now it has even more blooms!
This variegated weigela was a nice surprise!I hope that it continues to do well. Because it is still young and therefore has sparse flowers, its blooms are not as beautiful as they will be! I am looking forward to its maturity as it graces my dry creek.
My petunias have come back! This was unexpected but looks like petunias, given the right environment, they can be perennials!
I won't be hungry this summer!
Peaches!
Blueberries
