Trailing/Ground Cover

Madison Jasmine
I am looking forward to this plant covering the whole arbor but most importantly i am looking forward to the smell. I did not know about this plant until one day I was walking with my family in my neighborhood and my daughter and I started smelling this intoxicating beautiful smell. We did not know where the smell was coming from so we started sniffing around to see where it was coming from. This house where we were passing had this ruffled and ruggedly looking plant which every time we came close to it the smell became stronger.

We finally figure it out that his was the plant. I did not know its name but one day I was out at Lowes Garden Center and I saw it! I jumped at it and bought it. It continued to flower in the pot as it was waiting for the project to finish. As you can see, we just planted it today finally and it looks like it was made for that trellis.

Purpleleaf Wintercreeper

This is an evergreen that changes color in winter but does not lose its leaves.

Japanese Spurge
I've planted 4 of these in my planting beds around the trees in the backyard. My hope is that they will act as fillers so the beds don't look so bare.

Below is a picture I found on the internet of a Japanese spurge in bloom! Looking forward to it.

Carpet roses

Homestead Purple Verbena
I don't have a picture of this in bloom yet, but next year if, I mean when, they survive winter I should have a nice front yard.

Variegated Liriope
I've used this plant sparingly across the front yard. I am looking forward to its purple blooms.

Ice Plant

St. John's Wort

Clemantis
I planted this plant this year and Greenscape people put palettes of bricks on top it and it has suffered a lot even though it is not completely dead. A lot of branches have died. It is planted right on my mailbox. I hope it comes back because I paid top dollar for it. I don't know the name exactly but it does flower hot pink and magenta color sometimes purplish. Also in the following pictures are some of the ground covers that I've planted; keeping fingers crossed that they come back next year.
