New Additions

Guess what? I went to the garden center again! To my amazement I found new flowers to love! I feel embarrassed but excited at the same time! Wow, anyways, what's not to love? The mature flowers below are not my flowers, I found the on the internet to illustrate how mine will be when they are fully grown. In fact, I will alternate mine with the internet version!

First, here is the overview of the area I just planted. It is winter so everything is sparse and not to mention that everything is still small. Hopefully year three I will fully realize my dream garden.
Here is my Powis Castle Artemisia

Powis Castle Artemisia
I fount Powis Castle Artemisia on one of my garden center trips. I was looking for silvery plants that can anchor my colorful mostly burgundy garden! I bought this thinking it was a perennial and when I found out it is an evergreen I loved it even more! I found this picture online and it shows it fully grown!

Another one that I found which also happens to be an evergreen is Purity Candytuft
My version again:

Also, I found this "Scent First Passion Dianthus. I love dianthus since my old house because they are so hardy. They also come in so many varieties. I've some in the front and this was one additional one. Their rose-like blooms make them even more special.

Oh, and another thing, I have a razzle-dazzle crape myrtle that is not surrounded by these flowers including this "Helene Von Stein Lamb's Ears" plant! They look so beautiful; I bought two of them.

Below is the internet version

I also have "Dusty Miller" which I bought as an annual but apparently it can be a perennial in our area given a mild winter. Here is the picture.
My version:
 coming soon!

Below is the internet version

I also bought some filler plants for my backyard. My backyard is a mess right now cause it needs cleaning from fall leaves and new growth everywhere.
